vivo X21i is announced, sports a Helio P60 chipsetThis morning, vivo has quietly announced the vivo X21i in China. The main difference of this model with its predecessors the X21 and X21 UD is the chipset. The X21i is based on a Helio P60 chipset which is built after the 12nm process, has a 2GHz octa-core CPU and an 800MHz tri-core Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The previous models are based on the 14nm Snapdragon 660 with a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU and an Adreno 512 GPU. The RAM and storage of the new model measure 4GB/6GB and 64GB/128GB, respectively. However, there are only two combinations available at the moment: 6GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB both priced at CNY 2698 (USD 425). The body of vivo X21i is 0.2 mm wider, 0.06 mm shorter and 0.38 mm thinner than the other two models. Its battery is also a bit larger with a capacity of 3245 mAh against the 3200 mAh of the x21 and x21 UD. All the rest is the same, including the 6.28-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, the dual rear camera setup that includes a 12MP Samsung S5K2L9 main shooter and a 5MP auxiliary snapper, the 12MP Samsung Samsung S5K2L8 front camera with face recognition. The model lacks the under-display fingerprint sensor found on the x21 UD. It is available in black, red and white colours, and will go on sale in China on May 19th.
