Huawei P20 and P20 Pro are official with an all new Leica Dual Camera and Leica Triple CameraHuawei P20 and Pro 20 Pro are finally official. The design of the devices complies with all of the latest leaks, including the gradient colour finish, however, it is exclusive to the Twilight and Pink Gold colour versions only. The rest of the colours include black, gold and midnight blue. The front and back are covered with glass, while the frame is made of metal. The front of both models is adorned by a FullView display with a small notch. The P20 one employs a 5.8-inch RGBW panel, while the P20 Pro is equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED display. There's a minimal chin below the screen that houses an "edgeless fingerprint sensor" that is also used as a navigation tool. Huawei P20 features the all new Leica Dual Camera. The module is vertically positioned in the top left corner on the back of the smartphone. The upper camera is equipped with a 20MP monochrome sensor, while the lower shooter packs a 12MP RGB sensor with large 1.55-micrometer pixel size. They are aided by a 4D Predictive Focus that literally pre-focuses on a moving object. There's an Ultra Snapshot feature that allows you to snap a photo by double-pressing the VolumeDown button from a locked-screen state. AI Image Stabilization is on board as well along with a Night Mode. The cameras are able of shooting 960 fps Super Slow Motion videos. The front-facing camera employs a 24.8 MP CMOS sensor and an AI-driven 3D facial modelling technology bundles with studio-quality lighting effects. In addition, with the support of Master AI Huawei P20 is able to identify, in real-time, 19 different categories such as a cat, food, group, natural colors, close-up, night shot, text, greenery, portrait, dog, fireworks, blue sky, flowers, stage, document, sunset, snow, waterfall, and beach. The built-in AI at chipset level allows the photography system to recognize the scene and colour balance the photograph automatically. Huawei P20 Pro packs a Leica Triple Camera that includes an 8MP telephoto shooter, a 40MP RGB shooter, and a 20MP monochrome snapper. The system offers a 5X Hybrid Zoom and all else offered by the Dual Camera of the P20. Huawei P20 and Pro 20 Pro are based on a HiSilicon Kirin 970 system-on-chip with a built-in NPU. They are also ARCore supported devices, making it possible for users to experience augmented reality apps like Curate, a game changer for the real estate industry. In addition, the models incorporate a Dolby Atmos sound system and deliver high-quality Bluetooth audio quality with HWA to support Hi-res audio files. The P20 is powered by a 3400 mAh battery with Huawei's SuperCharger tech. The P20 Pro features a 4000 mAh battery. Huawei P20 and P20 Pro are already avaialble for purchase globally.
