Oppo has announced in India the Realme 1
- the first smartphone from its new Realme sub-brand positioned in the premium mid-range spectre of smartphones. Realme has 6 R&D facilities and 2 manufacturing plants in India. The brand is specially made for the local market. Realme 1
has been demonstrated as a prototype. It has a diamond-cut-like looking back and texture plus a bright polished frame. For the manufacturing are used a 7-layer process and ceramic tech that places a 10nm coating on the frame to make the frame shine. On the front, a 6-inch FHD+ display sits. The model is based on a Helio P60 chipset and has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in memory. There's a three-slot SIM tray as well with two Nano-SIM cards and a microSD card slots. Power is supplied by a 3410 mAh battery with AI battery management. Not much on the camera has been said suffice the face recognition and vivid bokeh features. The front shooter has an 8MP sensor and the rear camera - a 13MP sensor. The 6GB+128GB version of Realme 1

Oppo has announced that it will launch a sub-brand that will aim to boost its online sales. It is dubbed Realme and the first smartphone with that name is the Realme 1, which is the Oppo A3 with a new name. The launch is planned for May 15th in India and will be exclusively held by Amazon India.
