Add DeviceSpecifications as a preferred source on GoogleXiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro were launched globally alongside the Xiaomi 17 series, bringing a flagship‑level experience to the tablet lineup. Both models use an 11.2‑inch IPS display with a 3.2K resolution (3200 x 2136) and 12‑bit color depth. The panels reach a 144Hz refresh rate and 800 nits peak brightness, while supporting HDR10, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision. TÜV Rheinland certifications cover flicker‑free performance, reduced blue light, and circadian‑friendly viewing. Compared with last year's Pad 7 generation, the new tablets upgrade to larger 9200 mAh batteries. Pad 8 charges at 45W, Pad 8 Pro at 67W, and both offer 22.5W reverse wired charging. They ship with Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0 preinstalled.
The Xiaomi Pad 8 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and comes with either 8GB LPDDR5X or 12GB LPDDR5T RAM, paired with 128GB UFS 3.1 or 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. Its camera setup includes a 13MP main sensor capable of 4K video and an 8MP OmniVision OV08D front camera.
The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro steps up to the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform and offers 8GB LPDDR5X or 12/16GB LPDDR5T RAM, along with 128GB UFS 3.1 or 256/512GB UFS 4.1 storage. Its rear camera is a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, and 4K recording at 60 fps, while the front camera is a 32MP OmniVision OV32D with f/2.2.
Both tablets feature quad stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi‑Res certification, a quad‑microphone array, a USB‑C 3.2 Gen 1 port with DP Alt Mode and power delivery, and an IR blaster. Connectivity includes Wi‑Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro pricing starts at EUR 560 for the 8GB+256GB version. The Matte Glass edition of the Pad 8 Pro costs EUR 770 for the 12GB+512GB variant. The vanilla Pad 8 is priced at EUR 450 for the 8GB+128GB version.
