vivo Y83 is official, seems to be a downgraded version of the x21i also announced todayEarlier today, vivo announced the X21i based on a Helio P60 chipset. Together with this upper mid-range smartphone, it has also announced the vivo Y83 that has inherited the design language of the latest devices from the X series with its full display and a notch, available colours (red, white and black), and a slightly bigger body. The Y83 is based on a MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) chipset with a 2GHz octa-core CPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage that can be expanded with up to 256GB. The IPS display has a 6.22-inch diagonal size and an HD+ resolution. The camera department includes an 8MP snapper for selfies and face recognition and a 13MP rear shooter, each provided with an f/2.2 lens. The device costs CNY 1498 (USD 236) and may already be purchased from vivo's online store.Origen

Today, Vivo uploaded on its Weibo page an album full of official renders of the upcoming Vivo NEX 2. The phone's official announcement is planned for December 11th.
