Rear cameras, photo and video samples

Oukitel WP30 Pro is equipped with three rear cameras. The main camera uses a 108MP Samsung S5KHM2SP03 sensor with a 1/1.52" optical format and a 0.7 μm pixel size. It is paired with an f/1.88 lens with an 85.5° field of view. The main camera records 4K videos at 30 fps. The second rear camera is a Night Vision one using a 20MP Sony IMX350 sensor with a 1/2.78" optical format, an f/2.0 aperture, and two IR lights. The Night Vision camera supports autofocus. Finally, there's the 5MP GalaxyCore GC5035 macro lens with a 1/5" optical format, an f/2.0 aperture, and a 78° FoV. Below we provide photo and video samples shot with the main and macro cameras. For the main camera, we provide a comparison between a shot with pixel binning and without pixel binning in the sensor's original resolution.

Camera App

The Camera app has a familiar interface - this one has been used consistently by Ulefone in their Armor series. This layout is quite user-friendly and provides quick access to the camera settings. The main screen has the standard big shutter button placed at the bottom with the camera switch to its right and the shortcut to the list of photos and videos to its left. The reel with shooting modes is placed above those and the default shooting mode is Photo. It arrives with a zoom icon in the middle of the right side of the screen, while on the top the icons for the flash, AI, HDR, and camera settings are positioned. when you tap on the settings, an overlay appears with additional options that expand below it allowing for immediate view and setup when needed. The video shooting mode has the same layout as the Picture one but without the AI options. Of course, the video shooting settings differ from those for capturing photos but the settings layout is the same quite convenient overlay.
The Super Night shooting mode uses the main camera and supports HDR. The Beauty mode also uses the main camera, supports HDR, and works with the LED flash. It allows you to adjust the degree of background blur and enable some beautifying features such as face buffing, whitening, slimming, etc. The Macro mode switches to the macro camera. It also supports HDR and works with the LED flash. Upon initiation, the app warns that the best distance for focusing is around 4 cm from the object. The Night Vision mode switches to the 20MP Night Vision camera. It supports HDR and the button next to the shutter switches to the video recording option of this camera. 108M is the setting that you should choose, in case you want to snap photos in the original sensor resolution. The More tab gives you access to the Pro mode, Portrait, Gif, Panorama, Mono, Bokeh, and QR Code. The Pro mode lets you adjust the white balance, ISO, exposure, focus style, and shutter speed. The Portrait and Bokeh mode are the same with the same option for background blur adjustment.
The interface for the front camera is identical and when you choose a mode that's not supported by the selfie snapper, the device simply switches to the corresponding rear camera. The camera settings are also the same as the ones for the rear cameras. The More tab contains Portrait, Mono, and Gif modes. Photo editing is done via the default Photos app, which has Google Lens integrated. From here you can enhance, warm, or cool an image, adjust its brightness, contrast, white point, highlights, and other properties, crop, add filter, text, or markup.
