Rear cameras

The AGM H6 has a very simple camera department. The main shooter uses a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 ISOCELL sensor with a 1/2.76" optical format and a 0.64 μm pixel size. It uses a tetra pixel RGB Bayer pattern color filter, hence the default photo size is 12.5MP. AGM did provide an option to shoot in the sensor's original resolution and below we've provided samples from both types of photos in various scenarios. The main camera has autofocus and supports FHD video shooting at up to 30 fps. Other smartphones reviewed by us and using the ISOCELL JN1 sensor for their main cameras are the POCO M4 Pro 5G and the Ulefone Note 16 Pro. The main camera is aided by a dual-tone LED flash and is adjoined by a 2MP macro camera using a GalaxyCore GC02M1 sensor.

Front camera

AGM H6 employs an 8MP Samsung S5K4H7 sensor for its front-facing camera. The sensor has a 1/4" optical format and 1.12 μm pixel size. The unit supports facial recognition and unlock, and shoots FHD videos at 30 fps.

Camera App

The camera app is quite simple and easy to use. The big shutter button is at the bottom with the camera switch to its right and the shortcut to the list of photos and videos to its left. The reel with shooting modes is placed above those buttons and contains "Capture", "50MP", "Pro", "Video", "Portrait", "Panorama", and "More" modes. When you're in the "Capture" shooting mode, there are six icons on the top of the screen - for the beautification features, the settings, the filters, the flash, the self-timer, and Google Lens. By default, this mode shoots 12.5MP photos. You have to choose the 50MP mode to shoot in the sensor's original resolution. The "Pro" mode lets you adjust the aperture, shutter button, autofocus, ISO, white balance, contrast, and saturation. The "Portrait" mode also allows aperture adjustment, beautification features, and HDR. There's a "Panorama" mode as well. The "Video" mode shoots FHD videos at 30 fps. The "More" tab contains the "Time Lapse", "Slow Motion, "Audio Note", "QR Code", "Macro", and "Night" modes. The interface for the front camera is the same, only the photo settings contain a "Mirror reflection" toggle - a feature typical for selfies. Photo editing is enabled by the Photos app which arrives with Google Lens integrated. It includes edit suggestions - Enhance, Warm, and Cool, crop options, image properties adjustment - brightness, contrast, white point, highlights, etc.
