Audio hardware and music app
The Ulefone Armor 12 is equipped with two 1216 super-linear speakers with 1.6 cc super-large sound cavity, a 7-piece magnet sound unit, up to 0.64 mm amplitude. Both are aided by a smart PA, placed on the back of the handset, and are quite loud. Ulefone specifies 106 dB of power. The manufacturer has also used a new SKTune V5 algorithm which accurately analyzes the acoustic characteristics of the virtual sound field and adjusts reverberation. Combined with 15 levels fo fine-tuning, volume adjustment becomes smoother and more natural.There is no 3.5 mm jack and for standard headphones, you can use the USB-C to 3.5 mm jack connector provided in the box. The Armor 12 arrives without a music app pre-installed. You can open audio files with the basic player associated with the Files app but it offers nothing more than back, forward, stop, pause, and play. The YT Music app offers the usual options but it is also integrated with online music available on YouTube in general and is not very convenient. Of course, you're free to install any application for playing music you like.
