SK-Phone X4 - a sub $200 smartphone with a FHD display, octa-core CPU and 3GB of RAM

SK-Phone is one of the many Chinese manufacturers of smartphones for the local market. It wouldn't probably hit the news hadn't it revealed a smartphone with high-end specifications, which the company actually sells at a loss, according to Chinese media. The SK-Phone X4 is sold for the amazing price of USD 188.6 (CYR 1159). We say "amazing" because we have in mind its specifications that include a MediaTek MT6592T chipset with an octa-core Cortex-A7 CPU clocked at 2GHz, a quad-core Mali-450 MP4 GPU clocked at 700MHz, and 3GB of RAM. Furthermore, the smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. features a 5.5-inch Full HD OGS display with a 400 ppi pixel density and a battery with a reasonable capacity of 3000 mAh. The set of cameras is also pretty decent including an 8-megapixel front shooter and a 16-megapixel rear Sony camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The internal storage measures 16GB. The device is also pretty thin with a depth of 7.6 mm. The SK-Phone X4 supports 4G TD-LTE networks in China. There is also another model called SK-Phone X5 that supports 4G FDD-LTE networks that is probably identical in all other aspects to the X4, but for now no further information is disclosed.Source
