8849 Tank 2 Pro by Unihertz is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 (MT6789) chipset. Built on TSMC's 6nm production node, it delivers reliable performance and power efficiency. The system-on-chip comprises an octa-core CPU with two 2.2GHz Cortex-A76 cores and six 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 cores. A 1GHz dual-core ARM Mali-G57 GPU handles the graphics department. There are 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM clocked at 2133 MHz. The RAM can be virtually expanded with up to 12GB. The built-in UFS 2.2 storage capacity measures 256 GB and can be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot. Of the 256GB on board, 242GB are available to the user. Our review unit scored 427,062 points on AnTuTu 10 which is a typical result for the Helio G99 chipset. The single-core and multi-core Geekbench 6 results also show a performance typical for this particular SoC. The PCMark Work 3.0 result supports these findings, too.
