Performance

Ulefone Armor 19T is based on the MediaTek Helio G99 (MT6789) chipset. Ever since its adoption by modern smartphones, this chipset has proven it delivers reliable performance. The results from every smartphone with this chipset we've tested show a performance that's on par with higher-clocked CPUs and more powerful GPUs. Manufactured using TSMC's 6 nm process technology, this SoC was introduced in 2022. One of its advantages over older production nodes is the increased power efficiency. It also supports big displays with high resolutions, fast refresh rates, and big camera sensors. The chipset offers an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. An ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU with two cores clocked up to 1000MHz handles the graphics department. There are 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM clocked at 2133 MHz and 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage onboard. There's an option to virtually expand the RAM with 2GB, 3GB, or 5GB from the Memory Expansion menu in the settings. Of the 256GB onboard the device, 240GB are available to the user. The built-in storage can be expanded via a microSD card slot in the hybrid, dual-SIM tray. Other smartphones which we have reviewed and are based on the same Helio G99 chipset are Unihertz Luna, Ulefone Power Armor 19, Doogee S100, Unihertz Tank, and Ulefone Armor 17 Pro. Our Ulefone Power Armor 19T review unit scored 387,815 points on AnTuTu 9. This is one of the highest results of this chipset on AnTuTu from all devices based on it we've tested - almost on par with the top result achieved by the Ulefone Power Armor 19 (388015) and the third-best Doogee S100 (387821). This overall AnTuTu 9 result is comparable to the performance of the devices using the Snapdragon 750G and Snapdragon 695 chipsets. The single-core and multi-core Geekbench 5 results show a performance that's on par with that of devices based on the Snapdragon 730 and Dimenisty 700 chipsets. This is further confirmed by the PCMark Work 3.0 result. The Geekbench 6 results are now limited for comparison but show that the devices based on the Helio G99 chipset have similar results.
