Cameras

The camera department of Alldocube X includes two identical shooters - one on the front and one on the back. Each is paired with an 8MP sensor with an f/2.8 lens. Each camera shooters photos with a resolution of 3264 x 2448 and 1080p videos at 30 fps. The tablet supports 4K playback along with H.264, H.265/HEVC, VP-9 video encoding and decoding. Below we publish three sample photos taken with the main (rear) camera.

Stereo speakers, Alldocube F40 headphones

Alldocube X features two stereo speakers placed on the two sides of the top frame. For an enhanced audio experience, Alldocube has also included an Asahi Kasei AK4376A Hi-Fi chip which has an advanced D/A converter to help convert a digital signal to its analogue counterpart. It integrates the DAC and headphone amplifier together for quality audio reproduction. Translated in practice, this means that the speakers are loud enough and the sound does not get severely distorted in the highest volume levels. There's a lack of sufficient bass and treble as with most speakers of mobile devices, so we're looking at a pretty mid-range device in this regard. The audio test has been performed by using the TASCAM US-2x2 audio interface and the RightMark Audio Analyzer software as usual. All audio enhancement features are disabled. The Frequency Response is rated as excellent, the Stereo crosstalk is good and the THD + Noise is average. All other parameters are rated as very good, so is the overall result of the audio test. With Alldocube X we have received a complimentary pair of Alldocube F40 in-ear headphones. This model is yet another attempt to offer high-end features for a compelling price. The impedance supported by a general smartphone is between 8 and 32 ohms. The impedance of the F40 headphones is 16 ohms so they are suitable for any type of mobile device. The headphones feature a custom FLT K3 that handles ultra-high frequency. Three dynamic drivers and one separate balanced armature with a proprietary acoustic design deliver quality dynamic power and audio clarity, according to Alldocube. Each headphone includes a 4-coil iron design, a nanographene unit and titanium alloy. High-end materials don't end here. The oxygen-free pure copper wire exceeds what is deemed as a normal configuration for this price. Moreover, the manufacturer claims that the cover of the headphones is made of natural turquoise thus each headphone has a different texture. For additional comfort, the cable is designed to go behind the ear. The package includes two complimentary in-ear canal tips in addition to those that are already placed on the headphones. The PVC material used for the tips responds to the warmth of the ear to provide a better and more comfortable fit.
