Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will have 90Hz displays and 12MP+16MP rear cameras9to5google has come up with some exclusive and interesting details on the upcoming Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones. The Pixel 4 will have a 5.7-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution, while the Pixel 4 XL will have a 6.3-inch OLED display with a QHD+ resolution. Both units will have a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz - a feature which Google plans to call "Smooth Display".

There will be a thick bezel above the displays on both models mainly for the Soli radar chip which is a Google project for device control via subtle hand movements. There will be a single front camera there as well as the standard set of sensors and the receiver. The glass back will also have a significant camera bump for a two-shooter setup - a 12MP standard unit and a 16MP telephoto snapper. The source also reports that Google is developing a DSLR accessory for the Pixel 4 family.

In terms of performance and power, both models will be based on a Snapdragon 855 chipset. The Pixel 4 will have a 2800 mAh battery, while the Pixel 4 XL will have a 3700 mAh battery. The base RAM capacity will measure 6GB and the base storage one - 64GB. In addition, both devices will be equipped with stereo speakers, a Titan M security module and will run on the latest version of Android with 3 years of software support.
