Xtouch unveils the Unix with a fingerprint sensor, 5" HD display and a 3200 mAh battery

China-based Xtouch has just unveiled the Unix - a mid-range smartphone that features a 5-inch IPS display with an HD resolution and a pixel density of 294 ppi. The screen is protected by a Dragontrail glass, which is very thin - 0.28 mm, but also very strong - with a hardness of 9H. The display takes up 70.6% of the total front surface of the smartphone, which also features a metal body made of finely CNC crafted aluminum alloy with 2.5D curved edges. The device's performance is based on a MediaTek MT6753 chipset with a 1.3GHz octa-core CPU and a 450MHz Mali-T720 MP3 aided by 2GB of RAM. The internal memory measures 16GB and can be expanded with up to 128GB. Xtouch Unix is equipped with a 13-megapixel Samsung CMOS rear camera that has a 5-element lens with an f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash. The front-facing shooter also packs a 13-megapixel sensor with AF and an 85-degree wide-angle lens. It is also backed by an LED flash that adjusts its brightness according to the environment. Power is supplied by a 3200 mAh battery with a fast charger. The on-board fingerprint sensor provides 360-degree recognition. The model also features a hybrid dual-SIM card slot, supports 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE networks, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.Fonte
