Arm announced the Cortex-A77 CPU and Mali-G77 GPUToday Arm announced its latest CPU and GPU for premium mobile devices and laptops, designed for a future 5G connectivity. Arm Cortex-A77 CPU is a premium performance CPU core in its 3rd generation designed for 7nm processes. Built on the DynamIQ technology, it can be paired with Cortex-A55 CPUs in a scalable DynamIQ big.LITTLE configuration. The new CPU offers improved performance, faster web-browsing and application launch time, an improved always-on, always-connected feature, improved battery efficiency.

After three years of building on Bifrost, Arm introduces the innovative Valhall architecture with the Arm Mali-G77 GPU. Compared to the previous generation - Mali-G76, the G77 delivers a 3 % increase in performance density, 30% energy efficiency improvements, and 60% improvement for machine learning.
