Overview

Ulefone Note 18 Ultra is a logical and worthy successor in the brand's Note series. Evidently, Ulefone is gaining momentum not only in its iconic Armor series of rugged phones, but also in the Note series. The manufacturer is consistently improving catering to the users' various preferences providing beautifully designed smartphones with well-balanced specifications and affordable prices. Ulefone Note 18 Ultra is built around a 2.5D curved 6.78-inch in-cell IPS display with an FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2460). It supports up to a 90Hz refresh rate and is covered with a Corning Gorilla Glass. The 32MP Samsung S5KGD1 selfie camera with a 5-element lens, an f/2.4 aperture, and an 80.4° FoV resides in a punch hole in the top-center of the screen. The rear shell houses two shooters - a 50MP Samsung S5KGN1 main camera and a 50MP SK Hynix Hi-5022Q ultra-wide lens. The main unit has a 6-element lens with an f/1.95 aperture and an 85° FoV. The ultra-wide unit has an f/2.2 lens with a 117.3° FoV. The 5G 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 720 (MT6853V) chipset ticks under the hood of the Note 18 Ultra. It houses a 2GHz octa-core CPU and a tri-core Mali-G57 GPU. The SoC is paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM clocked at 2133 MHz that can be virtually expanded with up to 6GB. There are 256GB of built-in UFS 2.2 storage that can also be expanded via a microSD card slot. The smartphone has a hybrid, dual Nano-SIM card tray with both SIM cards supporting 5G connectivity and the following network bands: 2G GSM (B2, B3, B5, B8), 2.5G (BC0, BBC1), 3G W-CDMA (B1, B2, B4, B5, B6, B8, B19), 4G LTE-FDD (B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B7, B8, B12, B13, B17, B18, B19, B20, B25, B26, B28, B66), 4G LTE-TDD (B34, B38, B39, B40, B41), and 5G (n1, n3, n5, n8, n20, n28, n38, n41, n77, n78). The EU head SAR value is 0.515 W/kg and the EU body SAR value is 0.669 W/kg. The wireless connectivity options of the model include NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, and Cast Display. The smartphone also arrives with a USB Type-C 2.0 port, an IR blaster, a headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Running on Android 13, Ulefone Note 18 Ultra supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo.
