Oukitel WP200 Pro Review

Rear cameras

The Oukitel WP200 Pro has three rear cameras. The main one uses a 108 Samsung S5KHM6 ISOCELL sensor with a 1/1.67" optical format and a 0.64 μm pixel size. The sensor is paired with an f/1.89 lens with an 82° FoV and outputs 12 MP images by default. This camera can record 4K videos at 30 fps. The second unit is a 2MP GalaxyCore GC02M1 macro camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 76° FoV. The third unit is a 0.3MP GalaxyCore GC032A depth sensor.

Selfie camera

The front-facing camera of the Oukitel WP200 Pro uses a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor with a 1/2.80" optical format and a 0.8 μm pixel size. It is paired with an f/2.2 lens and supports up to FHD video recording at 30 fps. Other smartphones reviewed by us that use the Sonny IMX615 sensor for their front camera include the Cubot KingKong X Pro and the Cubot KingKong X.

Camera App

The Camera app is familiar and easy to work with. The bottom of the screen is occupied by the shutter button, the camera switch to its right, and the shortcut to the photos and videos to its left. The reel with shooting modes appears above those and the 1x-2x zoom icon is above the reel. The top of the screen is occupied by the icons for the camera settings, HDR, flash, and AI (if supported by the corresponding camera). The reel includes the default "Picture" mode, "Video", "108MP", "Facebeauty", and "Macro". The "More" tav includes a QR Code scanner, "Pro" mode, "Slow-motion", "Gif", "Time-lapse", "NightView, "Panorama", and "Portrait" mode. The "Facebeauty" mode allows you to adjust four beautification features and the degree of background blur. The "Pro" mode lets you adjust the white balance, ISO, focus metering, aperture, and shutter speed. The "Portrait" mode allows you to adjust the degree of background blur. The "108MP" mode lets you shoot in the sensor's original resolution, while the default "Picture" mode snaps 12MP photos (pixel binning). The interface for the front camera is largely the same but contains only the "Picture", "Video", "Facebeauty", and "More" shooting modes. The settings for the available shooting modes are the same as the ones for the rear camera with the addition of a Mirror toggle for selfies. The "More" tab contains a "Gif", "Time-lapse", and "Portrait" mode. The Photos app is the default application to open and edit photos and videos. It arrives with Google Lens integrated.
