Smartisan (Hammer Technology) has just unveiled the Nut Pro 2S. The device is based on a Snapdragon 710 chipset and is powered by a 3600 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. They are packed in a very thin body - 7.15 mm in profile, available in four colours - glare red, glare blue, white and black. The black version retains the thin red horizon line the Nut Pro 2 has. It is graced by a FHD+ screen. The camera department includes a 12MP Sony IMX363 rear shooter supporting Dual PDAF and aided by a 5MP auxiliary snapper. The selfie snapper packs a 16MP sensor. The main camera has gained 95 points from DxOMark - that's lower than the Huawei P20 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 8 and Samsung Galaxy S9 but better than the iPhone X. The logo on the back conceals a fingerprint sensor. At the end of the presentation, Lao Luo said that Smartisan will hold a press conference at the end of this year and will "release something that no one believes." Nut Pro 2S is priced as follows: CNY 1798 (USD 262) for the 4GB+64GB variant and CNY 1998 (USD 291) for the 6GB+64GB version. In terms of pricing, this is a direct competitor of Xiaomi Mi 8 SE.
