Denmark-based Lumigon has announced its first smartphone. The T3
is a feature-packed device with interesting and elegant design. Its body is made of ultra-hard molybdenum marine-grade stainless steel and Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It has a rounded on the top and bottom profile and arrives in a number of color combinations to suite everyone's taste. The main part is available in white, black and orange, while the rails and buttons are in different colors. There's also a 24-karat gold version. The body is dust and water resistant, and is 7.9 mm thin. The smartphone has three physical buttons - the power and volume ones along with an ActionKey that can be adjusted to launch the camera flash, an app or feature. On the back of the device is placed another physical control center that may be used for scrolling through websites, swiping photos and taking selfies. On the left hand side of the device is placed a dual, nano-SIM card tray, in which the SIM cards can be placed without switching off the smartphone. Above the display is placed a delicate LED notification light in several colors. Equipped with an IR blaster, the handset can also serve as a universal remote control at home. Lumigon T3
packs a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED, Diamond pixel display with a 720p resolution. Under the hood ticks a MediaTek Helio X10 chipset with a 2.2GHz CPU coupled with 3GB of RAM and optional 128GB of internal memory. It supports 2G, 3G and 4G networks along with dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC for Android Beam and payment, external HDMI via MHL, etc. The model also has a fingerprint sensor, embedded in the home button, a compass, accelerometer, altimeter, temperature, light and hand-wave sensors. The camera department includes a 13MP primary shooter with phase detection autofocus and ability to shoot slo-mo and 4K videos. Under it is placed a 4MP night vision camera with dual IR flash, while on the front sits a 5MP camera with FrontFlash. The smartphone features high quality audio playback up to 24-bit/192kHz, stereo speaker, and premium noise cancellation. Its battery's capacity is referred to as "high", but is not specified.
