The Infinix Note Edge continues that mission by introducing a next‑generation 5G platform co‑engineered with MediaTek, alongside the company's first in‑house Android 16-based operating system. Together, the two form a tightly integrated hardware–software foundation designed to elevate everyday performance, connectivity, and user experience.
At the heart of the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 - a 6 nm octa‑core chipset featuring four Cortex‑A78 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and four Cortex‑A55 cores at 2.0 GHz, supported by a Mali‑G610 GPU. This architecture enables the Note Edge to deliver smooth multitasking, stable frame rates, and efficient power consumption. Infinix says the device can reach up to 90 FPS in titles such as Honor of Kings and Peacekeeper Elite, while PUBG: Battlegrounds runs at 60 FPS, all with sustained thermal stability during extended gaming sessions.
Connectivity is a central focus of the Note Edge's design. Despite global 5G rollout, many regions still face inconsistent coverage and performance - particularly outside flagship price tiers. To address this, Infinix and MediaTek have co‑developed optimizations that improve reception in challenging environments. In dense urban areas, video playback and app responsiveness can improve by up to 30%, while weak‑signal zones such as subways, industrial sites, and rural regions benefit from faster loading, more stable streaming, and reduced gaming latency.
Power efficiency has also been refined. Modem consumption is reduced by up to 21%, and background usage for social apps drops by 4.4%, helping the device maintain all‑day endurance even under heavy workloads. This efficiency is supported by a substantial 6500 mAh battery and 45W fast charging, ensuring the Note Edge remains reliable throughout demanding routines.
The Infinix Note Edge introduces XOS 16, a redesigned interface built on Android 16. The new Glow Space design language incorporates natural light effects, soft blur transitions, and dynamic edge illumination to create a more fluid, visually expressive UI. Semi‑transparent elements with a frosted‑glass aesthetic extend across menus and system panels, while new 3D spatial wallpapers add depth by layering icons, widgets, and the clock into a cohesive visual environment.
Beyond its software and chipset, the Infinix Note Edge brings an advanced hardware configuration. It features a 6.78‑inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 1208 x 2644 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The screen covers 93.4% of the front surface, enhanced by a 3D curved design that contributes to the device’s sleek 7.2 mm profile.
The camera system is led by a 50MP main shooter accompanied by a 13MP snapper on the front for selfies. Storage is set at either 128Gb or 256 GB with 8 GB of RAM. Additional features include stereo speakers tuned by JBL, NFC support, an IR blaster, and a USB Type-C port.
