Oukitel RT10 video introduction and unboxing

The Oukitel RT10 Industry is a special version of the Oukitel RT10. It is engineered for professionals who refuse to compromise on durability, precision, or adaptability. Featuring a customizable 2D barcode scanner and an industrial‑grade fingerprint sensor, it delivers reliable performance in demanding environments - from warehouse floors and security checkpoints to remote field operations. Its reinforced construction and enterprise‑ready architecture make it a natural fit for security and protection teams, industrial service personnel, and outdoor or tech enthusiasts who need equipment that can keep pace with real‑world challenges. Pre‑installed beta applications offer a practical starting point. At the same time, the open customization framework empowers organizations and specialized users to develop tailored workflows, integrate proprietary tools, and shape the device into a purpose‑built solution for their unique operational needs.
Oukitel R10 Industry is placed in a massive white box with the model name and device photo on the top of the cover. The following items accompany the tablet: The aluminum handle serves two purposes. On one hand, it can be used for carrying the tablet around and hanging it on various convenient places both indoors and outdoors. On the other hand, it can be used as a kickstand. It is crafted from durable alloy metal and is easily installed on the tablet. Whenever convenient, you can also use the hand strap or the shoulder strap.

Oukitel RT10 Industry design and layout

The tablet's oversized, industrial build turns sheer mass into a strategic advantage: its high‑capacity battery delivers multi‑day endurance, while the reinforced chassis protects a broad toolkit that spans practical field utilities, survival‑oriented functions, and rich entertainment capabilities. Whether deployed on rugged expeditions, used in immersive training environments, or relied on for demanding professional workflows, this fusion of durability, power, and multifunctionality transforms the device into a true all‑in‑one companion for work, exploration, and everyday resilience.

Certified to IP68, IP69K, and MIL‑STD‑810H standards, the Ulefone Armor Pad 5 Ultra is built to withstand full submersion for 30 minutes at depths of up to 2 meters, as well as exposure to dust, sand, dirt, extreme temperatures, humidity, salt mist, drops, and shock. In landscape orientation, the device measures 266/7 mm in width, 178.22 mm in height, and 22.5 mm in thickness. Its substantial 1255‑gram (1.255 kg) weight reflects its rugged construction, and the included handle stand proves especially useful for managing its size during everyday use. The front side is dominated by the display, which is shielded by 1.1 mm Corning Gorilla Glass and surrounded by a raised polycarbonate frame for added impact protection. All four bezels measure 9 mm, creating a uniform border around the screen. The top bezel incorporates the front-facing camera, while the light sensor, proximity sensor, and LED notification indicator sit just to its left. For navigation, users can choose between on‑screen gestures or virtual button controls, depending on their preferred workflow.

The rear shell boasts a harmonious, symmetrical layout. The camera island has an octagonal trapezoidal shape and is positioned in the top center. It houses three horizontally aligned lenses - the leftmost one is for the macro camera, the central one is the main unit, and the rightmost is the Night Vision shooter. The latter is aided by four IR lights positioned at the bottom of the camera island, while the dual LED flash is on its right end.

Mirroring the shape of the camera island, the camping light is placed at the bottom center of the rear shell. The ideal center covers the NFC area. The left and right sides are occupied by the two waterproof speakers covered with a mesh and a metal grill, each attached to the chassis by five visible screws. The right one makes room for the industrial fingerprint sensor with an area of 2 cm by 1.5 cm. The rest of the rear shell is covered with shock-absorbing TPU. Oukitel uses two 5W BOX speakers paired with dual AW88394 sound amplifiers, delivering 130 dB loudness. On the outer corners of the metal grids, there are four protruding "steps" that prevent the sound from being muffled when the device is placed on its back. The top frame is the home of the industrial barcode scanner that works fast and flawlessly. There, you can also see the main microphone, the two customizable buttons, the Volume rocker, and the Power button with an embedded fingerprint sensor. The POGO pins are positioned on the bottom frame. The left frame houses the LAN port and the USB Type-A port, each covered with a sealing cap. The right frame houses the dual-SIM tray, protected by a sealing cap as well as a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port, both covered with a sealing cap, too.

Oukitel RT10 Industry display specifications and measurements

Oukitel RT10 Industry features an 11-inch in-cell IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a typical brightness of 500 nits as per the official specifications. It is covered with a 1.1 mm-thick Corning Gorilla Glass and arrives with a pre-installed screen protector.

A single frame, 50% white / 50% black

Brightness White luminance Black luminance Contrast Color temperature
100 % 584.449 cd/m2 0.371 cd/m2 1575 : 1 10233 K
0 % 6.548 cd/m2 0.000 cd/m2 - 9956 K

Two separate black and white frames

Brightness White luminance Black luminance Contrast Color temperature
100 % 595.831 cd/m2 0.379 cd/m2 1572 : 1 10008 K
0 % 6.531 cd/m2 0.000 cd/m2 - 9688 K
The maximum brightness of our review unit is 595.831 cd/m2 measured from the bottom-center on a fully white screen with the brightness level set at maximum. It is close to the specified typical brightness. It is worth noting that the difference between the two types of measurement is marginal, pointing to the display sustaining very good brightness levels. At the same time, the black luminance is low enough to result in a very good contrast ratio for an IPS display - around 1500:1. The temperature of the white point is in the 10000 K range.

Display brightness uniformity

Position Left Center Right
Top 571.410 cd/m2 / 9940 K 591.703 cd/m2 / 9798 K 584.679 cd/m2 / 10006 K
Center 543.489 cd/m2 / 10115 K 595.831 cd/m2 / 9974 K 547.303 cd/m2 / 10069 K
Bottom 521.174 cd/m2 / 10260 K 546.911 cd/m2 / 10307 K 555.052 cd/m2 / 10388 K
Our brightness uniformity measurement shows that the display is relatively uniformly bright. The top one-third of the screen has an average brightness of 582.6 cd/m2 and a temperature of the white point around 9800-10000 K. The middle one-third has an average brightness of 562.2 cd/m2 and a temperature of the white point in the 10000 K range. The bottom one-third is the brightest with an average brightness of 541 cd/m2. The temperature of the white point at this tier is again around 10000 K. The CIE diagram shows that the display has a color space coverage that's very close to completely covering 100% of the sRGB color space but is not entirely exact. The line between the magentas and the reds includes a slightly wider spectrum of the magentas and a slightly smaller spectrum of the red hues. The display panel has a traditional vertical striped RGB subpixel arrangement.

Oukitel RT10 Industry cameras and chipset

The camera department comprises three rear shooters and a selfie snapper. The latter employs a 32MP Samsung S5KGD1 ISOCELL sensor with a 1/2.8" optical format and a 0.8 μm pixel size. This camera has an f/2.2 aperture and a 78° FoV and supports face unlock. The main rear camera is built around a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor with a 1/2" optical format and a 0.7 μm pixel size. This lens has an f/1.79 aperture and a 79.1° FoV. A 5MP Samsung S5K5E8 macro unit is also on board with an f/2.2 aperture, 84° FoV, and a 4 cm working distance. Finally, there's the 20MP Sony IMX350 Night Vision camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 78.5° FoV, and four IR lights. Both the main and the Night Vision camera record 2K QHD videos. Oukitel RT10 Industry software

Oukitel RT10 Industry runs on stock Android 15 runs stock Android 15 with a UI tailored for larger screens. The Lock Screen retains a clean, minimal look, featuring a small date widget and an oversized clock. The Home Screen follows the familiar Android layout with the Google search bar, a combined Clock and Date widget, a row of favorite apps, and a docked app row. Desktop shortcuts are supported.

The Customization menu uses the standard Android interface and offers only a handful of Home settings. From here, you can manage notification dots, toggle the app drawer, enable or disable Google Discover, and allow Home Screen rotation. The Task Manager displays app previews in a horizontal carousel, with quick access to app info and split‑screen mode. Both the Notification shade and Quick Settings panel follow the stock Android design and layout.

The list of pre-installed applications includes Calculator, Calendar, Camera, Camping Light, Chrome, Clock, Contacts, Drive, Files, Find Hub, Flashlight, FM Radio, Gemini, Gmail, Google Discover, Keep Notes, Kid Space, Maps, Meet, Messages, Phone, Photos, Play Books, Play Store, Safety, Service Center, Settings, Sound Recorder, TapPic, ToolBag, YouTube, YT Kids, and YT Music. The SDLgui app is the one that serves the industrial barcode reader. The Settings menu contains a completely standard set of options.

Oukitel RT10 Industry sensors, industrial barcode and fingerprint scanner

The Oukitel RT10 Industry packs a total of 15 sensors, including an accelerometer, magnetic field, orientation, light sensor, gyroscope, proximity, gravity, linear acceleration, rotation vector, game rotation vector, significant motion, step detector, step counter, geomagnetic rotation vector, and wake gesture. Moreover, the model features a capacitive fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button on the top frame, an industrial fingerprint reader (model FAP10), and an industrial barcode scanner (model SE4710).

Industrial fingerprint scanners are highly useful because they provide a secure, fast, and reliable method of authentication, replacing easily lost or stolen credentials like keys and swipe cards with a unique, non-transferable biometric trait. They are designed for high-traffic environments, often featuring durable, tamper-proof hardware that can withstand constant use and harsh conditions (dust, moisture).

Industrial barcode scanners are essential tools because they automate data entry with up to 99.99% accuracy, significantly reducing costly human errors associated with manual tracking. Designed for durability, these devices are built to operate in harsh, fast-paced environments - such as warehouses, factories, and logistics centers - where they improve operational efficiency, speed up workflows, and provide real-time inventory visibility.

Conclusion

In the end, this industrial‑grade rugged tablet stands as a reminder that durability and performance no longer need to exist in separate worlds. It delivers the kind of reinforced build, long‑haul battery life, and dependable connectivity that frontline teams rely on, while still offering the modern software experience and usability expected from a contemporary Android device. Whether it's deployed on factory floors, in logistics fleets, on construction sites, or in field‑service environments, it proves itself as a tool engineered for real work - not just ideal conditions. For organizations that need hardware capable of surviving the unpredictable while keeping workflows moving, this tablet earns its place as a reliable, future‑proof investment.
