8849 Tank 2 Pro by Unihertz is here as a refined version of its predecessors. It takes the best from all of them and fine-tunes it as to offer an improved user experience and meet customers' expectations. The new model arrives with almost stock Android 14 out-of-the-box. It has the same projector as the Tank 3 Pro but adds a dual camping light with an RGB warning/alamr light. The device packs a huge battery with 120W fast charging. The camera department is a mix-and-match from the previous models. The displays remains almost unchanged and the processing power depends on the well tried and tested Helio G99 chipset. Specifications

8849 Tank 2 Pro by Unihertz is equipped with a 6.79-inch in-cell IPS display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The unit is protected by a 1.1 mm thick Youji Glass. There's a punch hole in the top center of the display for the 32MP Samsung S5KGD1 selfie camera. The rear camera department consists of three shooters - the 100MP OmniVision OVA0B40 main camera with an f/1.75 aperture, the 64MP OV64B40 Night Vision one with four IR lights, and the 8MP SK Hynix Hi-847 telephoto unit with an f/2.2 aperture. Dual analog noise-canceling microphones, a 1134 waterproof loudspeaker with Smart PA, and a 0809 receiver are also on board. A 23800 mAh battery keeps the lights one. 8849 by Unihertz mentions 150 hours of talk time and 2800 hours of standby time. The en-masse used MediaTek Helio G99 (MT6789) ticks under the hood. The Tank 2 Pro has a triple-slot tray for two Nano-SIM cards and a microSD card. Both SIM cards support the following network bands 2G GSM (B2/3/5/8), 2.5G (BC0/BC1), 3G WCDMA (B1/2/4/5/8/19), 4G TDD-LTE (B34/38/39/40/41), and 4G FDD-LTE (B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/25/26/28A/28B/66). The wireless connectivity options of the model include Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, and Cast Display. The smartphone also supports NFC and has an IR blaster. It works with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou and is fitted with a USB Type-C 2.0 port with OTG, a 3.5 mm jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. A dual ultra-bright camping light with blue, green, and red emergency lights is on the rear shell. The Tank 2 Pro features a built-in projector with a resolution of 854 x 480 px, a 100 lumens brightness, and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It arrives with a built-in fan for improved thermal management and a focus dialer - just like the Tank 3 Pro. The Tank 2 Pro runs on stock Android 13 and has an IP68 and MIL-STD-810H rating for being resistant to water, dust, dirt, drops, extreme temperatures, etc.
