Positioned as the flagship of the Idea Tablet series, it is also the first device set to feature Lenovo Qira, the company's new AI‑driven learning assistant, arriving later in 2026.
At the center of the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is an integrated AI workflow built to streamline how students read, capture information, and study throughout the day. Powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Mobile Platform and enhanced with Lenovo's own AI solutions, the tablet transforms traditional study habits into a fluid, continuous process.
Smarter Reader, paired with the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus, allows students to highlight key content and instantly generate summaries or explanations, with all marked sections automatically organized in Lenovo Notepad. Live transcription ensures lectures and conversations are captured in real time, while a dedicated Smart Key on the 2‑in‑1 keyboard activates Lenovo Smart AI Input for quick text generation and translation using natural language prompts.
Beyond its intelligence features, the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is built for comfort and immersion. It features a 13‑inch 3.5K PureSight Pro display with Dolby Vision, delivering crisp visuals for reading, research, and entertainment. Students who prefer reduced glare can opt for a matte version with anti‑glare technology and consistent contrast. Audio is handled by a quad JBL speaker system tuned with Dolby Atmos, creating a rich soundstage for study sessions, videos, or downtime.
Despite its large display, the tablet remains highly portable. It measures just 6.2 mm thick, weighs under 600 grams, and packs a 10200 mAh battery with 45W rapid charging to support all‑day use. Lenovo is also offering the device in three fresh color options - Luna Grey, Cloud Grey, and Jelly Mint - giving students a bit of personal expression alongside performance.
The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 will be available in March 2026, with an estimated starting price of €549.
