Although they share many design elements and features, the differences between them reveal two devices built for slightly different priorities. The Armor 27T+ focuses on strong mid‑range performance with a modern Android build, while the Armor 27T Pro+ 5G adds next‑generation connectivity and a more powerful chipset.
Both devices share the same rugged exterior, measuring 86.8 x 182.8 x 18.5 mm and weighing 441 g, and both are built with polycarbonate, TPU, and metal, backed by IP68, IP69K, and MIL‑STD‑810H certifications. Their displays are identical: a 6.78‑inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels, 120 Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. This means that in terms of durability and visual experience, users can expect the same performance from either model.
The most significant difference lies in processing power and connectivity. The Armor 27T+ is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99, a capable 4G‑oriented chipset with two 2.2 GHz Cortex‑A76 cores and six 2.0 GHz Cortex‑A55 cores. In contrast, the Armor 27T Pro+ 5G uses the more advanced MediaTek Dimensity 6300, which increases the performance ceiling with two 2.4 GHz Cortex‑A76 cores and adds full 5G support across a wide range of bands. Both devices include 12 GB of RAM with an additional 12 GB of virtual expansion and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, but the Pro+ 5G model clearly offers more future‑proof performance and faster connectivity.
Camera hardware is nearly identical between the two models. Each features a 50 MP Samsung S5KGN1 main sensor, a 64 MP OmniVision OV64B night‑vision camera with dual IR lights, and a 32MP Samsung S5KGD1 sensor. This means that whether users choose the 27T+ or the Pro+ 5G, they will get the same imaging versatility, including professional‑grade thermal imaging and enhanced night‑vision capabilities. Compared to the non-plus Armor 27T series, the Armor 27T+ devices offer an upgraded thermal camera. This is a FLIR Lepton 3.5 unit with a higher resolution of 160 x 120 px, a 12-micrometer pixel pitch, and updated MSX technology with VividIR.
Battery performance is also shared between the two devices. Both include a massive 10,600 mAh solid‑state battery with fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. Their rated endurance is identical, offering up to 58 hours of 4G talk time and 24 days of standby. Connectivity features such as NFC, infrared, dual‑band Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack are present on both models. The only major connectivity difference is the addition of 5G SA/NSA support on the Armor 27T Pro+ 5G, which significantly expands its network capabilities.
In summary, the Ulefone Armor 27T+ and Armor 27T Pro+ 5G are extremely similar in design, display, battery life, and camera hardware. The key distinction is performance and connectivity. Both models deliver exceptional durability and specialized camera systems, ensuring they meet the needs of demanding outdoor, industrial, and professional environments.
