It presents a compact, design-forward smartphone with a 6.32-inch straight 1.5K display (1216 x 2640 px) that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, very high peak brightness (up to 3600 nits), and visual comfort features to reduce eye strain. The chassis offers refined finishes (including Star Butterfly Knot and high‑gloss glass options) and extensive durability engineering, with IP69/IP68/IP66 water and dust protection and 360° reinforced drop-resistance treatments.
Imaging is the Reno15's focal point: a multi-camera system built around a 200MP main sensor with a 50MP ultra-wide unit and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and up to 120x digital reach, plus a 50MP ultra-wide front camera; the phone emphasizes AI photography features, multi-frame stitching modes, and 4K 60 fps HDR video with stabilization.
Performance and sustained responsiveness rest on an efficient high-end SoC - MediaTek Dimensity 8450, combined with Oppo's gaming and connectivity enhancements such as an independent Wi‑Fi acceleration chip, advanced thermal solutions (VC, ice‑crystal cooling layers), and software frame‑rate boosts that target smooth gameplay up to 120fps in supported titles.
Battery life and longevity are emphasized: a 6200 mAh cell engineered to retain about 80% capacity after 1,700 charge cycles, 80W fast charging, and proprietary electrolyte self‑repair and longevity measures designed to keep the battery healthy over years of use.
