Motorola Moto X70 Air Pro debuts in China as a re-branded Motorola Signature

The phone's design evolves around a remarkably slim 6.99 mm silhouette, reinforced by an aircraft‑grade aluminum frame and finished in premium twill ‑ and linen‑inspired textures. It launches in two PANTONE‑curated shades- Martini Olive and Carbon- selected to convey quiet sophistication. Motorola positions the Moto X70 Air Pro as the thinnest quad‑curved handset in its category, engineered to feel as precisely tailored as bespoke apparel. At the same time, IP68, IP69, and MIL-STD-810H certifications hint at bespoke durability.
Imaging sits at the heart of the device. The Moto X70 Air Pro is the first in its class to incorporate four 50MP cameras. Its camera array features a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor, a Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto offering 3x optical zoom and up to 100x Super Zoom Pro, a 122‑degree ultrawide lens that doubles as a macro shooter, and a 50MP Sony LYT-500 front camera capable of 4K video. Sony LYTIA sensors, Dolby Vision capture, and Motorola’s Photo Enhancement Engine - driven by Moto AI - work in tandem to produce detailed, color‑accurate, low‑noise images across lighting conditions.
Powering the Moto X70 Air Pro is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, delivering next‑generation AI capabilities, faster processing, and improved efficiency. To sustain peak performance, Motorola integrates a copper mesh liquid metal cooling system, a first in the smartphone industry. The latest iteration of Moto AI, now supporting more languages, enhances everyday interactions through smarter recognition, assistance, and personalization. The device ships with Android 16 and the company's newest software suite, while promising up to seven years of OS and security updates.
Despite its slender frame, the Moto X70 Air Pro carries a 5200 mAh silicon‑carbon battery designed for up to 52 hours of use. Charging is equally ambitious, with 90W TurboPower delivering a full day's power in just seven minutes and 50W wireless charging available for cable‑free convenience.
The experience is completed by a 6.8‑inch Extreme AMOLED display offering Super HD resolution, Pantone‑validated color accuracy, Dolby Vision, and a leading 165Hz refresh rate. With peak brightness reaching 6200 nits, visibility remains strong even in harsh light. Audio has been tuned in collaboration with Bose and is supported by Dolby Atmos, Hi‑Res certification, and Snapdragon Sound, ensuring rich playback and clear call quality. The pricing of the model in China starts at CNY 4499 for the 12GB=256GB variant.
