Huawei P10 is equipped with a hybrid, dual-SIM tray for a Nano-SIM card and a Nano-SIM/microSD card. The two cards work in a dual standby mode. When the main one works in a 4G network, the other one will work in 2G and 3G networks only. Either can be set as a main/secondary card. There are four versions of the smartphone in terms of networks band support - VTR-AL00, VTR-TL00, VTR-L09, VTR-L29. We are reviewing a VTR-L29 unit, which supports 2G GSM: (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz), 3G UMTS (800, 850, 900, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100 MHz), 4G LTE-FDD (1/2/3/4/5/7/8/9/12/17/18/19/20/26/28/29), and 4G LTE-TDD (38/39/40/41) bands. 4G LTE speeds are Cat. 12/13 ones. Call quality during the test period has been excellent at all times in various environments. VoLTE, NFC with Huawei Beam, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, and Bluetooth 4.2 are present as well. The device supports dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with 2x2 MiMO for faster, more stable connections while widening coverage range and improving wall penetration capacity. You can use a QR code to share a Wi-Fi network if you want to. Our review unit has never struggled for signal even in areas with a generally weak reception. The smartphone works with all satellite positioning systems - GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo. It has managed to detect a good number of satellites from all (except for Galileo of course) with a very good accuracy of up to 6 meters. There's a USB Type-C 2.0 port with OTG support and no radio.
