Xiaomi Mi A3 arrives with a full pack of sensors, except for the pressure one. The set includes an accelerometer, magnetic field, orientation, gyroscope, light, proximity, gravity, linear acceleration, rotation vector, uncalibrated magnetic field and gyroscope, game rotation vector, geomagnetic rotation vector, significant motion, step detector and step counter. Xiaomi has opted for a 7th generation in-display fingerprint sensor which is blazingly fast in both recording and recognizing fingerprints and does not differ at all in terms of speed from the fast capacitive sensors. When you set a fingerprint ID, a corresponding animation appears on the lower half of the lock screen suggesting where you have to place your finger to unlock. This icon appears when the screen is off as well but you can toggle this feature off from the fingerprint settings. No other actions are associated with the sensor.
