Audio Test

The audio test has been performed by using the TASCAM US-2x2 audio interface and the RightMark Audio Analyzer software as usual. All audio enhancement features are disabled. The results from our Mi A3 review unit are a mixed bag. As with most smartphones, the frequency response is excellent but unlike most smartphones, the device showed an excellent noise level as well. Moreover, it has excellent stereo crosstalk - another rarity. However, all this is dimmed by the poor result of the THD+Noise and the average THD result. The IMD+Noise and IMD at 10 kHz results are rated as good. The overall result is very good. The 1217 SLS Large Amplitude Hyper-Threaded Speaker with a 0.915cc large sound cavity design and Smart PA is placed to the right of the USB Type-C port on the bottom frame. According to our subjective opinion, it is loud enough and actually suitable for listening to music. The device retains the 3.5 mm jack which is positioned on the top frame.
