Unihertz teases the Titan 2 Elite, resembles a BlackBerry

Add DeviceSpecifications as a preferred source on GoogleA new, more compact take on Unihertz's modernized BlackBerry-style smartphone is on the horizon. The company is preparing to unveil the Titan 2 Elite, a slimmer and more pocket‑friendly follow‑up to last year's Titan 2, with its debut scheduled for MWC Barcelona in March 2026.
The Titan 2 Elite is positioned as a sleeker alternative to the original model, trading Titan 2's chunky build for a noticeably smaller frame with rounded edges that should make it easier to carry. Unihertz has not yet disclosed the chipset or full specifications, but early images offer a clear look at the refreshed design.
The device retains the signature physical keyboard that defines the Titan line, though the layout has been refined. The four‑row QWERTY keyboard occupies a larger share of the front, resulting in a more compact display. There is no dedicated number row; instead, a function key handles numbers and special characters. Android navigation keys remain positioned on either side of the spacebar.
Visually, the Titan 2 Elite marks a shift toward a more streamlined aesthetic. The bulky top bezel of the Titan 2 has been removed, replaced by a punch‑hole cutout for the front camera. The softened corners on both the chassis and display further reduce the device's overall heft.
Unihertz has opened an email sign‑up for those eager to follow the launch. With its blend of physical keys and a more modern, compact design, the Titan 2 Elite is shaping up to be a notable entry for fans of keyboard‑equipped smartphones looking for something easier to slip into a pocket.
