Audio Test

The audio test has been performed by using the TASCAM US-2x2 audio interface and the RightMark Audio Analyzer software. All audio enhancement features are disabled to the extent allowed by the smartphone's software. The overall rating of the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE is Very good. When you look into the separate features ratings, you can see that compared to other smartphones, this model rates in the upper levels of "Very good". The Frequency response is excellent. The THD+Noise parameter is rated as Average and all other parameters are rated as Very good. The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE (Xiaomi 2109119DG) is equipped with a single, bottom-firing speaker placed to the right of the USB Type-C port. The earpiece doubles as a second speaker for stereo sound.

Music App

Xiaomi's Music app for the global MIUI versions is seriously simplified and many of its features typical for the Chinese MIUI version are cut off. For the global version, you get three tabs - recent, favorites, and playlists, placed above the list with audio files and with various options for sorting the files. The Now Playing screen is fully free from clutter. There are additional app settings from where you can access the headphones and audio effects - the same ones that can be accessed from the Sound menu in the System Settings. The Sound Effects contain options for preset sound effects, adjusting the sound to your earphones, equalizer, volume adjustment according to your age, headphone remote buttons, and their assignment.
