Sensors
Cubot X18 features only the very basic set of sensors - accelerometer, light and proximity ones. It is also equipped with a fingerprint sensor, placed on the back of the device below. Its round module is positioned below the camera one and the LED flash. The sensor offers 360-degree recognition and unlocking times of up to 0.1 seconds. There are several actions that you can assign to it - to serve as a back button or shutter in the Camera app, to use it as a controller/switch in the Photo, Music, Gallery, Launcher, Video and Phone applications. You can also use it to encrypt and lock/unlock applications. For launching applications, you have to click on a saved fingerprint ID and then select Binding App. A list of apps opens and you can select from there. The sensor can store up to 5 fingerprint IDs.
