Huawei nova Flip is launched in China

Huawei has launched the nova Flip in China as a foldable version of very thin and compact smartphones. It weighs 195 grams and is 6.88 mm thick. The main display is a 6.94-inch OLED unit with several technologies that improve the overall visual experience including Touch Turbo 4.0, Display Turbo 2.0, Super Motion (with a dynamic refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz thanks to the LTPO backplane), Super Vision, and AI HDR support. The display has a resolution of 1136 x 2690 pixels and supports 300 Hz touch sampling rate and 1440 Hz PWM dimming.
The outer display of the nova Flip has a 2.14-inch diagonal size and a resolution of 480 x 480 px. It is resides in one module with the two rear cameras. The main one uses a 50MP sensor with a 1/1.56" optical format and an f/1.9 lens, while the second one is an 8MP ultra-wide unit with an f/2.2 aperture and a 122-degree FoV. The front camera uses a 32MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 90° FoV. Both the front and main rear cameras record 4K videos at 30 fps and support AIS digital stabilization. Power is supplied by a 4400 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
The nova Flip by Huawei runs on HarmonyOS 4.2 and supports Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and NFC. It is fitted with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C 2.0 port, and dual stereo speakers. As usual, Huawei is silent about the chipset mentioning that it has an octa-core CPU. Even the RAM capacity is omitted. The available built-in storage versions include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB without options for expansion. The 256GB version costs CNY 5288. The 512GB variant is priced at CNY 5688 and the 1TB version costs CNY 6488.
