Huawei Mate X6 is unveiled in China, debut for the all-new HarmonyOS 5.0

Huawei presented the Mate X6 in China last night. The model arrives in two flavors:
- Huawei Mate X6 with 12GB of RAM, 256GB/512GB storage, Kunlun Glass 2, 5110 mAh battery, Harmony OS 4.3, and Beidou Satellite Messaging.
- Huawei Mate X6 Collector's Edition with 16GB of RAM, 512GB/1TB storage, Basalt Tempered Kunlun Glass 2, 5200 mAh battery, Harmony OS Next 5.0, Tiantong Satellite Communication, and Beidou Satellite Messaging.
The rear camera department of the two Huawei Mate X6 variants comprises a 50MP main shooter with a variable aperture - f/1.4-f/1.40, PDAF, LAF, and OIS. There's a 40MP ultra-wide shooter with an f/2.2 aperture and a 48MP telephoto snapper with an f/3.0 aperture. All three cameras are aided by a hyperspectral sensor using an XD Fusion Engine for enhanced color accuracy. The devices also have dual stereo speakers. Their batteries support 80W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 7.5W reverse charging.
The chipset is not disclosed but it is most likely a Kirin 9100. The Mate X6 variants arrive in Obsidian Black, Cosmic Red, Deep Sea Blue, Nebula White, and Nebula Gray colors with leather/glass rear shell and IPX8 rating for water resistance. They support Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC.
