Huawei has unveiled the new Pura 70 series of smartphones, which succeeds the Huawei P60 series. The first model from the new lineup is the Huawei Pura 70 (ADY-AL00). Available in Sakura Rose Red, Ice Crystal Blue, Snow White, and Feather Black colors, this model device has a plastic-glass body with a 2nd Gen Kunlun Glass for the display and an IP68 rating for being resistant to water and dust. The model is equipped with a 6.6-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1256 x 2760 px. Its LTPO backplane enables a 1 Hz - 120 Hz dynamic refresh rate. The screen also supports 300 Hz touch sampling rate and a 1440 Hz PWM dimming. The 10-bit display panel covers 100% f the DCI-P3 color space and reaches 2500 nits of peak brightness. It is HDR Vivid certified.
Huawei Pura 70 has a triple rear camera department with Huawei's XD Fusion Pro Image Engine. It is headed by a 50MP main unit with a 1/3.1" sensor and a variable aperture - f/1.4 - f/4.0. The main camera records 4K videos and supports OIS. It is adjoined by a 13MP ultra-wide unit and a 12MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, OIS, and autofocus. There's a 13MP selfie snapper also capable of 4K video recording. It resides in the punch hole in the top center of the display.
Huawei is silent about the chipset fueling the Huawei Pura 70 but the RAM and storage options are known - 12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage. Power is supplied by a 4900 mAh battery with 66W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging support. The smartphone runs on HarmonyOS 4.2 and supports Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and NFC. It is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode support. The model is priced as follows:
